Octrix may enable passive, inert decoy paths for defensive monitoring. Events
use a keyed pseudonymous source identifier rather than retaining raw source IP,
include truncated request path and user-agent plus limited network metadata,
and expire within 30 days. Best-effort alerts may be attempted only when the
tripwire is in active mode; delivery is not guaranteed.
